The radio transmitter is designed for connection to any master clock in the QW-Time III-series for the wireless transfer of time.
The connection between the master clock and the transmitter is via RS232 (factory preset) or RS485.
Transmitter output can be regulated in three steps; 25 mW (+14dBm), 100 mW (+20dBm), 500 mW (+27dBm).
Range
Range is affected by the building’s structure, the number of floors, walls etc. The following can be used as a guideline:
Indoors:
-100-200 m without repeaters
-200-400 m with 1 repeater
-300-600 m with 2 repeaters and so forth.
Outdoors:
