General
The repeater is used to increase the range of the transmitted time message. It consists of a transmitter and receiver. The receiver receives a time message from a radio transmitter or repeater before amplifying the signal and passing it on.
Repeater output can be regulated in three steps; 25 mW (+14dBm), 100 mW (+20dBm), 500 mW (+27dBm).
Range
Range is affected by the building’s structure, the number of floors, walls etc. The following can be used as a guideline:
Indoors:
-100-200 m
Outdoors:
-1 km
Max 8 repeaters can be used in one system.
